On Thursday, April 26th, 2018, The Woodlands Lions Club is hosting its Annual Carry-Out Charity Lunch, prepared by Carrabba’s Italian Restaurant.
The funds raised from this event help to support our Scholarship Program, which provides financial assistance to local high school seniors based upon financial need, academic achievement, and community involvement.
In addition, The Woodlands Lions Club supports numerous other charitable endeavors, including:
- Eye examinations and eyeglasses for students who are unable to afford them.
- The National Seeing Eye Dog Training Program, which supplies dogs for those individuals who are sight challenged.
- The Texas Lions Camp, in Kerrville, Texas, which provides camping experiences for children with physical disabilities, Type 1 Diabetes, Cancer and Down syndrome.
- The Lions Eye Bank
- The Montgomery County Animal Shelter
- The Woodlands Children’s Museum
- Linked with Liam, providing support for children with cancer
- Interfaith of the Woodlands
We Thank-You for your support. If you are interested in learning more about The Woodlands Lions Club or would like to join us as our guest for lunch – let our representative know. Our meetings are the second and fourth Thursdays of each month @ 12 Noon at Carrabba’s Italian Grill.
